The upgrade rate stated at $60 a day but they negotiated down to $50 after I pushed back on why we needed to pay more for a car when the one we reserved was not available. We would have to wait an undetermined amount of time of could upgrade. Despite having a reservation, when we showed up to pick up at our reserved time, we were told that the SUV we rented (a third row SUV to accommodate luggage and passengers) was not available.
